Butte College kicked off its month-long celebration of Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month on Wednesday, Sept. 15 with a Bienvenida or welcome lunch for Latinx students at its campus Culture and Community Center.
National Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month honors the culture, heritage, and contributions of the Hispanic and Latinx community and spans from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 annually. Butte College’s Student Equity Program and Culture and Community Center is hosting a month-long celebration featuring guest speaker Ariana Brown, a staff and faculty panel and a campus family reunion.
